Seb Hicks is an osteopath, injury rehab therapist, and exercise coach. His background has a strong emphasis on movement education and sport both personally and professionally. Having worked at the Orthopaedic Institute in Perth in multidisciplinary teams, Australian football clubs in Perth and Adelaide (AFL) alongside having competed at high-level sport, Seb fully appreciates the benefits of sustained, quality movement education, this is a key point he conveys to his patients. Following completion of his BSc in Sports Rehabilitation where he co-authored the Functional Rehabilitation chapter in the Core Textbook ‘Sports Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention’, he worked with physiotherapy clinics providing the bridge between the gym and treatment room, helping with active rehab, movement awareness, and education. Spinal fusions, lumbar discectomies, Joint replacement surgery and soft tissue injuries are some of the conditions that Seb has helped rehab. Professional development then took him into Osteopathy, where he completed a 5-year Masters at the London School of Osteopathy. It was here Seb conducted research into the role of Ankle and Hallux mobility, and subsequent influence on posture and gait through locomotion. He now utilizes his skill set which combines active movement integration with passive osteopathic treatment techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Seb’s research interests lie in the field of functional medicine, movement science, central sensitization and the role osteopathy can play alongside therapeutic movement.

Shere, thank you very much. You simply changed my life. I became a therapist myself after receiving coaching from Shere in early 2018. I had depression and I was just diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. I avoided coaching and therapy for a very long time until my doctor recommended me to start physical exercise and psychological support. He referred me to Shere. He felt save as he knew she was a nurse, therapist and movement specialist. Our relationship has changed my life and I believe I do have now a coach as well as a friend.

Sherezade is a wonderful practitioner, therapist and coach. We have worked together in a number of very complex projects in high-risk environments. She outstands in professionalism and it is always a pleasure having her as part of our international team.

Dr JB Consultant Psychiatrist

Having experienced many health practitioners throughout my life, I can say that Sherezade is one of the most professional and thorough practitioners I have worked with. She was referred to me by a medical doctor and since day one the service has been sensational. No one reaches the commitment and professionalism towards her clients as Sheri does. Sherezade organised a team and treatment plan from day one and immediately felt supported. I have received an exceptional service.
