A partnership with The Life Rooms and Mersey Care NHS Trust Foundation
We are delighted to present a new collaboration with The Life Rooms, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
The Life Rooms provides a safe and welcoming space to meet others, access opportunities and learn about community resources. Their fantastic work extends to Walton, Southport, Bootle, South Liverpool Treatment Centre and Playhouse Theatre in Liverpool.
We are pleased to support the community of patients and members of the staff Mersey Care NHS Trust and The Life Rooms with our Online course Resilience, Mind and Rhythm. Initially developed to healthcare professionals, we decided to expand our scope of offering additionally to everyone, including healthcare centres and communities that may be at greater risk for developing long-term difficulties.
In the past weeks, we have seen a tremendous increase in situations that could potentially lead to a detrimental effect on our mental well-being such as the unexpected loss of a loved one, loss of jobs, and even loss of identity.
We are expanding our horizon to those who may be struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression and have a prior history of trauma. Our course will help to gain awareness of our emotions. Even if you feel you have no emotional strains from work, we believe learning about your emotions, and coping techniques will help you maintain control in any difficult future scenario.
Particularly interested in research and evaluation, The Life Rooms, is committed to building the evidence-based of what they do, such as the impact of health and care system. Early evaluation work illustrates that, after using Life Rooms, Mersey Care service users evidence a reduction in clinical cost when compared with Mersey Care service users who did not use the Life Rooms. Our new partner has over 100 communities partnerships developed as part of their model, presenting positive outcomes such as self-development and self-awareness, social inclusion, development of personal goals and improved wellbeing.
RhythmiaBreath aligns with the Life Rooms vision in supporting and improving health outcomes with an emphasis on research and evaluation, and data-driven strategies.
